Put on latex or nitrile gloves

Locate the upper-hopper chamber
On the inside wall you’ll feel the knockout plug adjacent to the dishwasher connector. Make sure the plug has been removed if you use the dishwasher
Continue downward
Continue downward with you hand until you reach the impellers, if you’re at the lower-hopper chamber you went too far
Rotate the impellers
Rotate the impellers counter-clockwise feeling for any obstructions to remove.
Once you have unjammed the garbage disposal you can turn it on and test.
